PFREUNDT expands into the USA: Founding of the subsidiary PF Scales Inc.

As an innovation leader in mobile and stationary weighing systems, PFREUNDT is setting another milestone in its global growth strategy with PF Scales. The US subsidiary is laying the foundation for even closer cooperation with customers in the United States and offering tailor-made weighing solutions for the US market.

Tom Kerr is taking over as General Manager for PF Scales. He will be based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he will build up the business in the United States. This region is part of the so-called “Rust Belt” and is known for its strong mining industry. PF Scales will support this industry with customized weighing solutions, making customer processes more efficient and transparent.

“With the founding of PF Scales, we are strengthening our presence in the important US market and laying the foundation for further growth in our international business,” explains Stephen Lüdiger, Sales Manager at PFREUNDT. “In Tom Kerr, we have gained a manager who knows the construction machinery industry inside out thanks to his many years of experience and understands the weighing solution requirements of our American customers.”
